This post is mostly a result of what a radio show here did back in 2005 and again yesterday.The idea is that if Aliens landed here and wanted a quick snapshot of Ireland and what went on here they would be handed this book to look through.
All photos have to be taken in a 24 hour time frame from midnight to midnight on the 2.10.10.In 2005 over 30,000 photos were e.mailed in to The Ray D'Arcy show and after selection 2,000 made it into publication.The book of all the photos is on sale in December and all proceeds go to the excelent Barnardo's charity, €300,000 in 2005 so well worth taking a few pics and sending them in!
Liz bought me the book the last time and I keep it in the locker beside the bed and look into it now and again and would love to have a photo in it, so this year I sent in quiet a few.
This from the last book I like because every parent has seen this face and said the line "yep 2 minutes more"!!!
The rest of this is mostly photos from 2.10.2010 and include people that make me smile daily!!
So there you have it, a quick look into one day in our lives.Lots more were taken too but they are for Us to look at, but, there is one more..............
..........always the messer.
If you see this book, US 2, in you local book shop you could do a lot worse than buy it as a Christmas present for someone for two reasons, its cheap and ALL the proceeds go to charity.!!

Thats exactly what I said and when I showed Liz the photo she said the same!!!.Did you spot the messages the kids sent you and Eric on the chalk board???
