It is now 6.27 am on Rossiter mountain and i have been awake since 4am after going to bed at 2.30am after what can only be described as a wonderful night.The reason for my untimely awakening i will share later, lets just say Rugby Tackle Injury for now !?
You see I decided to throw my great wife a surprise 40th birthday party last night 10.10.08.Although her actual birthday is not till 17.12.
Look at the face of yer one in the front sulking because she was allowed to stay up late.Kid`s ehhh!
What a success it was too, after much planning and preparation by people from all quarters the night kicked off at 7pm as planned when around 15 cars came in our drive all blowing their horns and flashing lights much to the bewilderment of all in the house except yours truly.I had arranged for us all to be sitting down watching "Finding Nemo" on the large screen projector at time everyone arrived.I would love to be able to put into words the expression on Liz`s face when she opened the blinds to this din.
I asked a Publican friend of mine to write an inscription on his frame which read "Liz 40 Pic`s~40 Years" but because the frame was veneered it rubbed off.I will have it done again later also the flash got in the way.
I will post more later, about the party, but i felt just like a child on Christmas morning wanting to go downstairs to see what Santa had left me so I had to share this opening sequence with someone.
Its going to be a good weekend!!!!!
